Art or Design? Design or Craft? Craft or Art? Are things always that clear cut? Does it always have to be an either/or decision? This course is different – not either/or but both/and! We offer a unique educational experience by bringing together art, design and craft in a single programme and enabling you to work within and across those different contexts. In so doing you develop understanding of the issues identified with each and ultimately take responsibility for establishing your context for your work.

 

The programme has a modular structure, which means it can be followed on a full-time or part-time basis. You will progress through three levels, each of which is equivalent to one year of full-time study. You will work in not one but two studio practice areas. These are Ceramics, Illustration, Painting, Printing, Textiles and Digital Arts
