The honours degree gives you the opportunity to investigate and experience Fine Art practice. It challenges and stimulates you to innovative and to engage with a phenomenon central to cultural life. Our aim is to enable you to develop a self directed approach to creativity and learning. On the course you will be able to explore and develop in-depth understanding of the interconnections between concept, context, practice and theory in relation to your ambitions as a fine arts student.


The programme has a modular structure and is three years full time. A part time route is also available on a modular basis. There are two semesters each academic year. You may specialise in one studio practice area or combine two studio practice areas. The core studio practice areas on offer are: Painting – 2D/3D Media, Digital Arts, Photography, Printmaking and Ceramics.
