We aim to provide you with a stimulating learning experience within the field of photography that will promote your professional ambitions and your personal growth. We offer a variety of pathways through programmes of study that are predominantly practically based but with importance placed on contextual issues that relate to current practice.


We make use of our local partnership with the National Media Museum to provide opportunity for you to enhance your skills and knowledge within the photographic arts.


Your programme will include projects utilising research, documentary and photojournalistic skills. Image construction and analysis relating to the projects will be dealt with in your contextual studies. This is underpinned by technical instruction. You will progress from basic photographic work incorporating elements of design to more complex projects, which take advantage of our extensive traditional as well as digital facilities.
